did you ever feel so empty, that all you wanted to to have someone you can lean on and that person is not there? or did you ever feel sooo bad that you already have someone inside your head that you want to talk to, but you can’t….

Sad to say, i think we’ll never able to watch this. So we have to wait for the dvd copy. Oh why!!!
Last Saturday as planned, we’re going to watch Kung Fu Panda. But the last full show is 5:30Pm and at 7PM they will be showing CareGiver. I have nothing against with that movie, it just pissed mo off why they have to show 4 Films when they only have 3 cinemas available. Hmpff! Maybe this is how cinemas work in Laguna. I really wish that there’s a better mall aside from what we have in here.
I already imagined myself laughing so hard while watching it, just like what i’ve experienced in Alvin and the Chipmunks . According to reviews, Kung Fu Panda is really a funny film. I’m so disappointed, I really envy people who have seen this film.
that’s all for now!

THe Chronicles of Narnia. I haven’t seen The lion, the witch and the Wardrobe in the big screen. Big Big regret! So i was really excited and planned to see Prince Caspian. It felt like i’m going to watch harry potter series. But then, when i planned watching Indiana Jones 2 weeks ago. It was a disaster. I asked my bf to leave his office early, and he did. Rode the bus on time and what happened? His bus broke down, so he arrived at our meeting place past 7:30pm. The movie already started at 7pm.
After what happened in Indiana Jones, i’m expecting my plan will be a disaster again. We watched Prince Caspian last thursday (June 5, 2008). My bf had a hard time taking the bus that day, so i decided to meet my friend first and eat dinner. While eating dinner, the rain poured so hard that caused multiple power flactuations. The major one lasted for about 30secs or more. For short, we’re eating dinner without lights on (yes! yes! no generator!), i’m so glad that the rain stopped before 7pm… No more power failures. I thought the catastrophie is all over. But may bf run into a major traffic so he arrived past 7:30pm… The film already started when we got in, we’re late again
I’m just glad we only miss 10 minutes part of the movie.
Anyway, enough of the inevitable events we’ve had. Now about narnia. So they got back to narnia after 1300 years (this was the part when we got in). Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy are much of a grown up now. Prince Caspian is really charming =p. (Back to the story). When the Prevensie siblings arrived at narnia, everything has changed, their palace ruined (they were even drawn in the caves like they’re just a history, like more of a legend). The trees don’t dance anymore. Prince Caspain discovered that the creatures he thought that’s already extinct do still exist in the forest. After Prince Caspian and Prevensie Siblings met, they lead the narnians against Telmarines to restore Narnia. And so the battle begins.
I was really disappointed seeing narnians die and others left behind in the telmarine castle battle. I wished Peter and Prince Caspian found other means to save their lives instead of leaving them like that
. But the good thing about all of this is when all hopes are gone, Aslan is there to the rescue, helping his people, and restoring the land and his people.
It saddened me, when they are about to leave narnia, wish they could stay (but i dont know if that could be a happy ending ;p). In the first chronicle, you can feel the excitement when they got back to the wardrobe, but this time i really felt that they don’t want to leave, but they can’t stay. They don’t belong in that world. sniff sniff.
A magical and adventure movie. I do wish i can be a part of that world, but no wars please… =p
It’s more than 2hours i believe, when my bf and i were watching it we’re so afraid that it will be finish and we have to wait for a prince caspain part 2 sequel =p. ***I wonder if Susan will get back after a week, Prince Caspian will be like 100 plus years old or dead (ohh noooo…)!
I’m exptecting to see the rest of Narnia Chronicles in film. There are still 5 books left, the Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Silver Chair, The Horse and His Boy, The Magician’s Nephew, and The Last Battle. I hope i can have all the seven books before this christmas and see the difference between the book and the film adaptation.
so that’s it, we’ll be watching Kung Fu panda tomorrow and Hulk next week.
til then!

Across the Universe… this film was released last year (2007) in September. I’m not really into musical film especially after watching Sweeny Todd by Johnny Depp, it’s so bloody just thinking of watching it again brings me goose bumps. But after watching this changes everything (thanks to my friend catz for sharing her dvd copy with me). This movie was done so creatively, that i found myself falling in-love with the cast, with the story, with the music and I can’t help not to cry at the end of the film. I’m not a huge fan of the beatles but now i am. Maybe I’m the last person who saw this film, but to others who haven’t seen it… Watch it!!!
Some of you maybe wondering who’s that guy in our image header, he’s Jim Sturgess (as Jude Feeny in the movie), this was the part where he sung “Strawberry Fields Forever” (My bf’s long time favorite song).

I just remembered today, while pretending to work, that there was this one time that some one really made a difference in my life even though I really didn’t catch his name. It was I think 1998, oh yes… the year when we had our hair grew longer than our moms did because of the band fad and the year where I stopped thinking of getting any kind of success in my life that I realized I need to grow up.
I was with my best friend and band mate then applying I think for our first NBI clearance (although I really can’t remember why we need it in the first place). It was a hot summers day then, our hair was long and we were waring checkered polos and blue jeans topped with worn out sneakers. hehehe. baduy. Hey we never really had much time to take a look at our selves in front of the mirror as some metrosexuals do and I think there weren’t any metrosexuals then either. Anyways, going back to the story…. Me and my friend went to the nearest NBI office in Makati. Walking with our envelopes armed at a ready we met a guy who was processing his SSS compensation papers. I think he was about 50+ or something and he was generally a nice guy. We asked first for directions on how to go to the NBI office and then something good happened. The guy then suddenly started sharing about his life. He was telling stories about how he needs to process his papers for her daughter because she was getting married and that he is very proud of how his eldest son became a doctor abroad and how his youngest son made it out of college with no worries. No medals though, but still his son is out there looking for a job to keep a promise. The man said that his son promised him an all nights vacation at the beach. NICE… when then it was summer and all. I did feel a little aloof at first because in my mind i was thinking “What do I care about your family” but he said something that will stay with me and haunt me for the rest of my life. He said “Destiny is not something you wish for but something you work hard for”. Nice, right?
He then told us that he was just a peddler of veggies before. They had one “bilao” and some vegetables from a capital of 10 pesos. 10 pesos was alot back then. After a few years they spent some money to buy a place at their wet market to sell out meat products and rice. Then when their first born was almost about to graduate from high school, they bought a small lot in their province and started raising chickens and ducks. I was amazed right then and there. I mean this guy was awesome in some way.
He then repeated the phrase and directed it to us. He said “Destiny is not something you wish for, its something you work hard for”. This was his philosophy in life. This phrase was his guide. Finally he said, “I also met someone in the streets older than me who told me the same thing I’m telling you right now.” . “May it guide you with what you want to do in your life.”
Then My friend and I made a pack never to forget this phrase until its our time to share it with somebody else. Hope I’m not too old before I can pass this experience with another by stander or to you.
Is it just me, or does everyone else hates that one day after the weekends? Yup… Mondays!!! I really hate it. Its this one day in which I have to wake up earlier just to avoid the morning traffic. Its been a puzzle for me up to now why it seems that there are more people leaving for work every Mondays than the other regular days. I mean, for example, I live at a village near Antipolo, and its this one day that I noticed that besides me, there are maybe 30 persons waiting for the same ride (Crossing Megamall Robinsons). Yeah I counted… hehehe… There’s this one couple who always had the manner of smiling and noding at you even though you really don’t know them. I think they live like 5 streets away from us but they have this expression in which they would like to have you think that you’ve been their friends for a long time (72 years). Another one is this really cool looking girl (I hope my GF is okay with this post
.. ), I think she’s 27 or 29 and there were times in which we shared the same FX (taxi). She would smile and then asks questions like what time it is (although I can see from where I’m sitting that all she needs to do is lift her arms up upto her shoulders and check where the big and the small hand is pointing) and maybe make comments such as “wow, umuulan na naman” (Wow, Its raining again). In cases like that I always find my self smiling and then looking the other way. Its easier that way. I really would like to avoid conversing with her. Hahaha. And then there’s this two older women in which I assumed that they are sisters because they look alike and dress alike, that I always seem to can’t get rid off. There was this one time in which I sat at the back part of the FX(4 seater) to avoid having them sit next me only to find out that they are already almost pushing me to get in so that they can, in turn, get on. They are what you can typecast as “Matandang Dalaga” (Old Maids”). I say this because at their age, they should be living separately and maybe with someone of the opposite sex lifting their bags or folders. And speaking of bags, they both have this one Shoulder Bag the size of a rice sack. I mean they have everything in there. Old newspapers, magazines, makeup kits, extra shirts and maybe some kikay kits(at their age). hehehe. I would say one is maybe at her early 50’s and the other one at her late 40’s. The weird thing is that the only thing they do is stare. I mean they exchange small words like “nalock mo ba pinto” (Did you locked the door”) or “Kumain ba si Mama?” (has mom eaten?) and would then look at each other and smile or laugh. There was this one time in which they looked at eachother and then making sign languages with their face ( I saw them twitching their nosie and making words out of their lips as if they were mute or something) and then they would just laugh, smile, and sometimes makes angry faces. Sometimes they will just look at you for the whole duration of the ride. a very very long time sometimes.
Its this thing I have with people around me. I’m not anti social and am not afraid of being surrounded by people I don’t know its just that sometimes or most of the time they would like you to feel that their business is your business…
Lame…
I’ll tell you more of what I hate about Mondays… maybe next Monday… I’m not in the mood to work today…
